If you're new to the whole social media marketing thing, you may be feeling a little overwhelmed. Social media is increasingly important in your overall marketing strategy. There are more and more social networks gaining attention every day.

It is important for your practice to maintain a presence on several platforms, in order to use social media to your advantage. The most widely used social networks that I have found useful for dental practices are LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and google +. If your practice is not using at least 2 of these, then you are missing the boat on potential new customers.

This week OraBrite would like to give a shout out to Luxesmile Family and Cosmetic Dentistry! What is Devereux & Nguyen Orthodontics doing to stand out ???

First, they have come up with a fun idea that plays off of the popular TV show American idol.

DNO holds a contest every two years called the Idol smiles. To be a contestant, you must have been a client of Devereux & Nguyen Orthodontics who has received braces or had them removed within the two years. Each contestant's picture is then placed on their website and the public is encouraged to vote for the winners!!

What sets them apart?

The Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting was held at the Georgia World Congress Center and Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta Georgia. OraBrite would like to thank the convention center and the Hinman Dental Society for their southern hospitality.

OraBrite is back from the 149^th Chicago Midwinter Dental Meeting held at the McCormick Place 89th and we would like to thank the convention center and the Chicago Dental Society for a successful show. OraBrite would also like to thank the attendees for stopping by our booth.  

We're off to NYC next week for the Greater NY Dental Meeting. I know the show will be phenomenal, but there's still nothing like New York City during the holidays. New York City is famous for the holiday season. I hope to get a glimpse of that magic.

What's the Show all about?

Well, if you don't already know this is the 89^th Annual Greater NY Dental Meeting. It's being held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.  The Greater New York Dental Meeting (GNYDM) is the largest healthcare and dental event in the United States attracting 53,481 attendees. The exhibitor's floor opens on Sunday, December 1st and OraBrite will be a vibrant addition to this year's meeting at booth 905.
