Using Pinterest to promote your practice
Are you using Pinterest as part of your marketing strategy? If not you are missing out on a great opportunity to promote your brand. Visual marketing is the current trend. Pinterest offers a ready-made audience of users (mostly female) eager to look at what you've got. Photos can be shared by over 70 million users. Thus making Pinterest a great way to "tell your brand's story" using visual content (PINS)
The most popular pins on Pinterest are fashion, food, and home décor. So by now you are probably asking how Pinterest can help your dental practice.
Not every brand is a typical "Pinterest-friendly" brand, and that is ok. The key to overcoming this is to share your "lifestyle" in a fun creative way. This is where it may get a little tricky for some dental practices, but don't bail! Keep with this. By doing this you will drive people to your boards which in return will help promote your product..
For example… say you would like to get the message out that proper brushing is important…You may feel that ppl might not want to see a random person brushing their teeth, and you would probably be right! So you can engage your followers by sharing funny and or inspiring pictures. Your audience would certainly find a picture of a cat brushing its teeth appropriate and extremely funny. By shaaring that photo…You have just relayed your message in a unique and clever way. More importantly, you have subtlety promoted your "brand" without cramming it down your potential customer's throat.
Have fun with it!
Use milesstones as a way to show your followeres that you appreciate them. When the Today Show hit 100,000 followers on pinterest, they backed a cake and "shared" it. Because they realize that food are some of the most popular pins on pinterest, they offered step by step instructions on how to make the cake yourself. Pretty clever!
How about coming up with a neat craft idea to show the proper way of brushing? Take pictures of your staff "making" their crafts (your audience wants to see you! The real people behind your brand). Your goal is to make a personal connection to your followers.Make sure to include step by step instructions on how your followers can make the craft at home.
Remember, your goal is to tell a story using visual content. SO figure out what you want to say about your brand and get pinning! |
