Webb Orthodontics and their attentive staff participate in various community activities through their new community service organization - Webb Orthodontics Supporting Our Communities, or "Webb SOCS". This group donates too many local organizations (choosing a new one every month). They also volunteer at community events and support their local youth!

The Benchwarmers Club is a great way to engage future patients. Family members of current patients under the age of 7 are encouraged to join this special club. Member's pictures are placed on the Benchwarmer wall and they receive a t-shirt. Webb Orthodontics sends each member a birthday cards and complimentary treat coupon every year until their 7th birthday.

The Junior Varsity Club is for children 7 and over.  Patients who are not ready for braces yet become a member of the JV club. Members are monitored every 6 months until they are ready for braces.  Their picture is placed on the office JV TV.

Each month Webb Orthodontics chooses a Patient of the Month, who deserves recognition for their compliance during treatment and for their good orthodontic habits. The Patient of the Month is featured in the local newspaper and enters the Webb Orthodontics Hall of Fame.

Santa Anita Family YMCA

This week's charity is the Santa Anita YMCA Stingrays Special Needs Aquatics Team located in Monroe county California. This swim team consists of children who have autism, downs syndrome, as well as many other disabilities. These children learn the fundamentals of swimming such as stroke technique, water safety, and train for a competition level swim meet being held in April. An estimated 350 athletes, 100 coaches, as well as hundreds of volunteers are expected to be a part of this event.

If you practice is looking for a way to get involved and volunteer, consider donating to the Santa Anita YMCA Stingrays Special Needs Aquatics Team or a similar event in your community.
