The 2016 Great Polar Bear Challenge took place on Saturday, March 05 at Yaman Park in Cortland. The OraBrite team volunteered and worked the refreshment stand giving out Coffee Mania coffee, hot chocolate and the donuts OraBrite donated. As a company OraBrite is committed to positively impacting the communities we serve by providing assistance to organizations and charities.

Before the Plunge began the Polar Bear Teams were judged on their costumes. There were two categories; individual and team. The winner of the team category was The Polar Plungers and the individual category winner was the Dunkin Donut. The Team that raised the most money was Cortland Regional Medical Center.

The Great Polar Bear challenged is put on by the Cortland County United Way. There were six teams as well as forty individual Polar Bear Plungers. The event rose over $7,800 for the Cortland United Way. This event is an entertaining way to get the community involved and raise money to support Cortland County community programs.

OraBrite Gives Back next at the Relay For Life of Cortland County. The relay takes place on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex from 3 p.m. - 3 a.m. We are looking forward to the opportunity to honor our friends and family that have been touched by cancer. This event is sure to raise money for a cause that has affected so many in our lives.

OraBrites charity of the week is the YMCA of Greater Hartford Connecticut for the Mission in Motion. This is an indoor cycling fundraiser to support the Downtown Y Annual Campaign and the charitable organizations the YMCA supports. They are handing out OraBrite oral care samples to encourage children to take care of their teeth and promote proper oral health.
