It's time for a change": OraBrite gives new toothbrushes

Involved in the local community

 dental products

Cavity Free Cortland is "A community-driven initiative formed in December 2014 to develop, implement, and evaluate a local action plan to improve oral health in Cortland County".

As an active member of Cavity Free Cortland the "It's time for a change" campaign is in full swing. This campaign was developed to raise awareness to change your toothbrush every three Months. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends that you replace your toothbrush approximately every three to four months or sooner if the bristles are frayed. OraBrite is able to provide our local community with new toothbrushes to make the change.

Our dry mouth toothbrush has arrived

OraBrite has expanded our product line of Pre-pasted toothbrushes and is now offering a Pre-pasted toothbrush with Xylitol designed for individuals with dry mouth. The toothbrush is 39 tufts of soft end-rounded bristles with U.S. formulated solution on an angled neck and is available in 4 assorted colors and individually cello-wrapped.

When xylitol is administered it boosts the salivary flow; this allows the xylitol to adhere to the teeth which help soothe the discomfort of dry mouth. Xylitol also aids in the prevention of tooth decay by stopping the growth of decay-producing bacteria. Xylitol also assists with remineralization of enamel. On the road again to Buffalo

OraBrite will be attending The Buffalo AADOM chapter, all-day marketing event- on Friday, May 5th at The Foundry Suites in downtown Buffalo from 9:30 am to 4:00pm. Marketing in today's Dental Practices – Including Social Media – will be presented by Robin Morrison, President at RLM Healthcare Marketing & Consulting, Inc. focusing on eight essential components to market your dental office.

The course objectives are:

  • Determining and attracting your target audience
  • Establishing your marketing plan and budget
  • Converting the new patient caller to an actual patient
  • Scheduling new patients
  • Case presentation
  • Morning huddles

For more information on this event, check out the chapter website for more details and to register. The AADOM chapter meetings are a great opportunity to learn, network and share information. I can't wait to catch up with the chapter members!

In the meantime, stay tuned to where OraBrite will be next, on the local scene!
